The planned World Peace Stupa in Winterswijk will be a place of hope and healing where everyone is welcome. It will include a meditation room for daily gatherings.

The path to world peace opens through inner peace. We offer a path rooted in the Tibetan buddhist Nyingma lineage, with both traditional and modern teachings especially suited for present society.

Sustainable

We offer delicious and locally sourced organic vegetarian meals. We make use of renewable energy. We are a volunteer community in close cooperation with the long established German and Dutch Nyingma-City Centers.

Organisatie

Stichting World Peace Stupa Center Europe operates under the spiritual guidance of Tibetan Lama Tarthang Tulku. Born in 1935 in Golok, Tibet, he studied under many renowned masters among whom his root teacher Jamyang Khyentse Chokyi Lodro. The preservation of Tibetan-buddhist texts and heritage is one of his life’s works. He has written over 40 books translated in many languages.
